Backstage Lighted Vanity Mirror
Hi Chummers! Last May, I gifted my self with something special that every girl will love – a vanity mirror! I said “special” because it is not the typical vanity mirror that comes with the dresser that you often see in home depots or furniture shops. It is the Backstage Lighted Vanity mirror from Digital Traincase Makeup which I bought at PhP3,800 plus shipping fee. There are three colors to choose from – white, black, or hot pink… I got mine in white.
This is how it looked like when shipped. It came unassembled and each piece was nicely secured with bubble wrap and the mirror was padded with foam for protection. It didn’t come with an instruction manual on how to assemble but trust me, it’s a no-brainer assembling this. It also came with a mini screwdriver which is nice especially if you don’t have that tool around.
Vanity Mirror Specifications (as stated on the DTC Makeup website):
Standard size – 21 x 19 x 2 inches
5ft Cord with on and off switch
Single universal outlet at the back of the mirror
Mirror dimensions – 15 x 13inches
Wing knot for 1/4 x 1inch screw
Swivel stand with collapsible base
I was able to assemble this in no time. As you can see, I can put up to seven light bulbs here. Ordinary light bulbs will do because the socket is the standard size but I prefer to use LED light bulbs because they consume less power and produce less heat. If you are wondering, the light bulbs were not included when I ordered this mirror. I got mine from ACE hardware at PhP199.75/bulb.
I put this mirror to use as soon as I got the light bulbs installed. I really love how big the mirror is and how my whole face gets lighted. It motivates me more to study makeup artistry, have fun with makeup, and just enjoy being a girl 😉
That’s it for this post. If you have questions or comments, please feel free to message me in the comment box below.
‘Til next time!
