ELF Studio HD Blush Swatches and Review
Hello Chummers! Today I’m sharing with you ELF Studio HD Blush swatches and review. It has 5 different shades – headliner (#83231), superstar (#83232), diva (#83233), encore (#83234), showstopper (#83235). 10ml (0.34 fl. oz.) of product is contained in a plastic bottle with pump. It is sold for only PhP168/bottle at The Primp Pad (where I shop most of my makeup online). It is also available at e.l.f. counters at the department stores.
- Rich pigmented color for a soft focus effect
- Naturally sculpts and highlights for a soft-focus effect that is great for everyday use.
- The Vitamin E enriched formula conditions and hydrates the skin for a healthy glow.
- The velvety soft, lightweight and highly pigmented color creates a long-lasting result for all day wear.
Press down gently on the pump to release a very small amount of color. Apply with your finger or a stipple brush to the cheekbones in a tapping motion to blend in.

A very little amount goes a long way since it is very pigmented. Unfortunately, the pump dispenses more product than you actually need. It is easier to blend using a stippling brush than using your finger. I suggest that you apply it quickly because it becomes hard to blend when it sat too long and dried on your hand. Do not apply this over powder because it will be much harder to blend and even out. Use this after foundation/BB cream/CC cream/concealer then set everything with powder.
I noticed that after a couple of weeks from first use, the product left in the nozzle dried out, even if you replaced the cap. So when I was trying to pump it for this review/swatch, it took some time before the product got dispensed, and when it did, it was dry and soft solid. So I did a few more pumps to get the product in the “expected” texture/form – creamy/mousse-like.
My favorite of the 5 shades are: headliner and superstar; mainly because I can wear them everyday.
You can also use these as matte lip color if you find them too strong for your face or for everyday use. But I find them drying on the lips and they accentuate the dryness/cracks on the lips if there already are.
Will I purchase it again? Maybe… but most probably not. I like how pigmented they are but I still prefer powder blushes because they are much easier to apply.
